Right Or Wrong Guy is owned and operated by Elgie Young (RightOrWrongGuy.com, United States), who acts as the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with the Service. The Service is built around anonymity: there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking cookies. We designed the Service so the minimum possible data ever leaves your device.

• No name, email address, phone number, or account credentials.
• No advertising trackers, profiling cookies, or cross-site identifiers.
• No device fingerprinting or behavioral profiles.

Before any text you paste is sent for AI analysis, our on-device scrubber automatically detects and replaces phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, ZIP codes, social handles, URLs, and likely full names with "[REDACTED]". The AI model receives only the scrubbed version.

• Your scrubbed text is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your verdict, and is not stored in a user profile or sold.
• Anonymous usage counters (total lookups run, button clicks) are stored as aggregate numbers only — never tied to an individual.
• Local storage on your device holds your lookup credit balance. It never leaves your browser and we cannot read it.

Purchases are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the billing details required to process your payment and handle taxes. We never see or store your card number. Paddle's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

We use first-party, cookieless aggregate analytics: simple counters for page views and feature usage. We do not record IP addresses, user agents, or session identifiers.

Because we do not hold identifiable user accounts or profiles, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. For payment records, contact Paddle support or us and we will help. If you want your browser-side credits removed, clearing your browser's site data removes them immediately.

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older.
